As an experienced Australian Physiotherapist and Osteopath, and a licensed Board Certified Sports Physical Therapist in New York, Kimberly brings a wealth of expertise in sports medicine and rehabilitation. Currently, Kimberly is the Owner and Physical Therapist at Path PT in New York, NY, since 2018. At Path PT, Kimberly provides personalized outpatient care in a sports setting, working one-on-one with clients to address acute, chronic, and post-operative sports conditions. Their approach includes a comprehensive rehabilitation path that often helps clients avoid surgical interventions, supported by a strong network with orthopedists and physicians in New York.
From 2022 to 2024, Kimberly served as a Physical Therapist Consultant for the National Basketball Players Association (NBPA), collaborating with the sports science team to develop treatment and strength programs that enhanced staff productivity and participation in health and wellness initiatives.
Prior to their current role, Kimberly gained valuable experience at SportsLabNYC (2015-2018), where they worked in a one-on-one strength training space, collaborating with coaches to create treatment and conditioning programs for athletes, including those from the NFL and collegiate levels. Their efforts led to successful returns to sport for professional and collegiate athletes.
Kimberly also worked at NYSportsMed (2013-2015) in a multidisciplinary practice, managing the physical therapy care for Columbia University’s Division 1 Rowing Program. Their work in reducing injury numbers and increasing participation rates over three years was notable.
In Australia, Kimberly practiced as a Physiotherapist and Osteopath at Peninsula Sports Medicine Group (2011-2012) and as an Osteopath at Total Balance Osteopathy and Burleigh Osteopathic Clinic (2009-2011). Their experience includes managing athletes from many sports, as well as providing rehabilitation for day-to-day sports and post-operative populations.
Kimberly holds a Doctorate of Physiotherapy from Bond University, a Master of Health Science (Osteopathy) from Victoria University, and a Bachelor of Science (Clinical Sciences) from Victoria University. They are Board Certified in Sports Specialty by the American Physical Therapy Association in New York, USA, and holds a DMA Clinical Pilates MBCT certification.
